UK Govt. offers universal IT skills to school children

The UK Government has made a commitment to universal access IT for all school age children at the BETT 2007.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

 

The UK Government has created a Ministerial Task Force on Universal Home Access to access IT skills in all school children. e-Learning Foundation will play a key role in the project. According to Jim Knight, the State Minister, a one in five school has implemented the integrated ICT into school life. The Government is looking for industries like Intel, Dell and Research Machines to create a strategy. The Minister has recommended e-Learning Foundation for the “excellent work” to close the digital divide in the UK.
