State Government of Punjab, India has given an order of worth INR 57.6 million to Gemini Communication Ltd complete the third phase of ICT Education project.
Gemini Communication Ltd will now work with the Turnkey Hardware and Service Provider for supply, installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure for phase III of ICT Education project. The project will cover around 2085 Government Schools in rural and urban areas across the state. The project would be based on a Lease, Maintain and Transfer (LMT) model for 5 years under the Project ICT Education in Schools. The company will set up entire networking in the school, install the workstations and servers with all the software and also maintain the infrastructure for five years. Now Gemini can develop more resources in North India and increase its services in Haryana, Punjab and Himanchal Pradesh.
