MP (India) Govt sets up school for good governance

The Madhya Pradesh Government has set up a School for Good Governance and Policy Analysis review state policies and its effect on a target group.

The school will work as an autonomous institution and it would be run by the governing body headed by Chief Minister. The State cabinet took the decision in June, 2007 and fixed INR 5 crore as the non-plan for 2007-08 for its establishment. The school will function as a `think tank' in the field of good governance in international and domestic context and will analyse problems regarding governance. It will also prepare an action plan and assist in implementation of the same. The school will compile and expand the outstanding activities and skills and `e-governance' programmes.
