Apeejay organises management development programme

Apeejay School of Management and Apeejay Stya University jointly organised a Management Development Programme on 'Brand building in the Digital Ecosystem' at the India International Center. The objective of the programme was to enable the participants to create strong brands, craft the perfect brand image and leverage the brand's potential through Digital media. The programme commenced with an inauguration ceremony and was followed by enlightening sessions on Internet Marketing Strategies, Brand Management, Creating the brand buzz online and Personal online branding and reputation management which led to the Panel discussion and the Q&A's. The program concluded with an informative session titled, The Road Ahead by Dr Ruby Roy Dholakia, Professor & Director RITIM, University of Rhode Island, USA.

During the occasion Aditya Berlia, Pro Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University said, 'In today's scenario when every brand is in aggressive competition to establish itself, digital branding has become the most suitable medium to create and enhance a powerful brand image among the mass. Be it small or big, every brand is impending hard for digital marketing to generate online buzz and strong reputation in industry.' The MDP aimed at enabling the participants in key areas like; formulating digital marketing strategies, enhancing the brand value in digital space, influencing consumer behavior through digital media, developing customer relationships in the digital space and personal branding and reputation management in the digital ecosystem. Apart from students of Apeejay Stya University, MDP witnessed the attendance of Brand Managers, Marketing Executives, Digital Marketing Experts/ Small business owners, Exporters, Consultants, and Academicians.

Keeping in pace with the speedy competitions, today businesses/brands have to position and differentiate themselves in the global marketplace where they need people to visit their sites often and feel comfortable in transact & interact. Great brands not only have to relate with consumers in the real world, but have to also achieve an image of pre-eminence. Google, Facebook, Yahoo, eBay, Amazon.com and Salesforce.com are the best examples- was the theme where the programme revolved around most of the times.
