Robotix Lab Research Academy develops new curriculum on Robotics

The Robotix Lab Research Academy has developed a new curriculum on Robotics, which is aligned to the Science and Mathematics syllabus prescribed by NCERT. This curriculum on Robotics has been accepted and integrated into the regular course work of two schools Calibre Academy, Mylapore and Surana Jain Vidhyalaya, Sowcarpet. In the past three years, Robotix Lab Research Academy has trained more than 2,500 students in the age group of 8 and 21 in different courses involving the mechanical, electrical, electronics and programming aspects of Robotics. A special exhibition on Robots based on the Android platform and the Robotic Arm are kept on display. Students, teachers and parents can walk in at their convenience to the lab for a free demo.
To keep pace with the growing demand from students on Robotics courses the Robotix Lab Research Academy (RLRA) has moved to a bigger and better place in T.Nagar. Dr. G. Gangi Reddy, Technology Business Incubator , University of Madras, inaugurated the new premises of RLRA.
Dr. G. Gangi Reddy in his speech emphasized on the necessity of “Robotics Education” for all in future. “Robotics in schools ignites passion in children as there is a huge fascination on the subject among them. This should be used to facilitate a better learning technique for the students.”
