JIPMER offers its first MBBS course

Puducherry: JIPMER (Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) has invited applications to fill up 141 seats in MBBS course based on Entrance Examination at All India Level. Around 66,000 candidates are striving for admission to first MBBS course (2013-2014).

According to JIPMER that the test would be held simultaneously in 14 centres across the country including Chennai, New Delhi, Puducherry, Bangalore and Vijayawada.

JIPMER, includes a tertiary care referral hospital, is an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The present expansion of JIPMER (Phase II) has seen the development of the JIPMER Women and Children’s Hospital, the JIPMER Academic Centre, the new hostel complex for undergraduates and postgraduates and a common wellness centre.
