Little Pearls School to become ‘Sister kindergarten’ of School in China

In a new kind of partnership, between Sino-India, a Delhi kindergarten, Little Pearls is likely to be paired as ‘sister school’ with a school in Kunming city, in China. Such alliances are sure to foster greater understanding between both the nations.

For this, a delegation from the Chinese Embassy visited ‘Little Pearls’ , a privately-run kindergarten, for discussing the details for pairing it with Education Faculty No 2 Kindergarten in Kunming, terming them as ‘Sister’ schools.  Kunming is a beautiful city is south-west China and known as the Spring City. The kindergarten there was founded in 1911 and has 624 children and 112 teachers as of now.

Terms like ‘Sister cities or states’ have been popular but ‘Sister Kindergarten’ is an innovation by China with the aim to  help the children on both sides to understand the two countries well, from a young age.  Moreover, such steps are sure to sow root of friendship in the hearts of kids, which later can harvest good results, both for China and India.

Since last few decades, Sino-India ties were severed due to political reasons. With this step, both the countries look forward to more friendly relations.

Little Pearls was founded about 20 years ago and today has a little over 100 children and it also caters to children of embassy staff of New Delhi.
