Rajasthan, first state in the country to make students data available online

Rajasthan becomes the first state in India to make the data of students available online. The data of all school-going students of Rajasthan will be available online, said Vasudev Devnani, Minister of State for School Education.

The process of uploading data of students online with the help of special software is in process and the data of government school students has already been uploaded. Now, the details of students of private schools, military schools, madarasas and others will be made available online, he added.

The minister further mentioned that National Centre for Science Information has developed the special software. The data will be uploaded on the website of the private school portal managed by the state government.

On December 4, 1957, Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) was established in Jaipur and in 1961; the same was shifted to Ajmer. The Board works for the promotion and development of secondary education in the state.
