The initiative is expected to benefit students, researchers, faculty members, and working professionals by enabling continuous learning in emerging areas of science, technology, and industrial applications. It also seeks to narrow the gap between classroom education and the skills required in today’s evolving job market.

With the launch of the new facility, CSIR-IMMT aims to strengthen its role in promoting innovation, lifelong learning, and workforce readiness. The institute believes the digital learning hub will support the development of a future-ready talent pool while contributing to India’s broader mission of advancing skill-based education and technological excellence.
