The Directorate of Information Technology, Electronics & Communication (DITEC), Government of Assam, has launched Internship 2.0, a four-week industrial exposure programme designed to prepare engineering students for careers in digital governance and public technology. The initiative provides hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital governance, and emerging technologies.
Targeted at third-year engineering students, the programme aims to bridge the gap between technical education and real-world government technology applications. Participants will gain practical insights into how digital systems support public administration and citizen service delivery.
