Telangana launches free government exam coaching

The Telangana BC Employability Skill Development and Training Centre (TGBCESDTC), Hyderabad, has announced a free 125-day foundation course for graduates preparing for government recruitment examinations in 2026-27.

The coaching programme, conducted through 12 TG BC Study Circle centres across Telangana, will cover exams including Group I, II, III and IV, banking, SSC, railway and police recruitment. Classes are scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026.

The notification will be released on July 24, with online applications open from July 25 to August 14. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their degree marks, reservation criteria and seat availability. Selected candidates will undergo document verification between August 20 and 24.

Graduates with an annual family income of up to Rs 1.5 lakh in rural areas or Rs 2 lakh in urban areas are eligible to apply. Applicants must not be regular students, employed, or have previously benefited from free coaching provided by the TG BC Study Circle.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 1,000 for five months, subject to maintaining at least 75 per cent attendance. The programme will also provide a book grant and transportation allowance.
