The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for online registration for Yuva Sangam Phase VII to August 31, 2026, giving eligible youth additional time to apply for the youth exchange programme. The earlier registration deadline was August 18.
The programme is open to young people aged 18 to 30 years, including students from higher education institutions, NSS volunteers and young professionals. Interested participants can register through the official Yuva Sangam portal.
For Phase VII, 20 higher education institutions, including IITs, IIMs, Central Universities and NITs, have been identified as nodal institutions to host and facilitate the exchange programme.

Selected participants will undertake five- to seven-day educational and cultural tours to paired States and Union Territories. The exchange will provide participants with first-hand exposure to local traditions, educational institutions, governance initiatives, innovation ecosystems, industries, heritage sites and community life.
The Ministry said the deadline extension will provide more eligible youth across the country with an opportunity to participate in the programme and experience India’s cultural and regional diversity.
