The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has launched an e-Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CS and AI) for professionals and graduates looking to build advanced skills in computer science, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The programme is being offered under IIT Bombay’s Educational Outreach initiative and has been developed to address the increasing integration of AI into modern computing and technology. It is aimed at software developers, engineers, IT professionals and data scientists with an academic or professional background in computer science.
Fresh graduates with a basic understanding of computer science can also apply, making the programme accessible to learners at different stages of their careers.
The e-PG Diploma will be developed and taught by IIT Bombay faculty, with Great Learning serving as the EdTech partner. The curriculum will bring together core computer science principles with emerging concepts and applications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The programme will follow a blended online learning approach, combining live synchronous classes with asynchronous learning resources. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in an on-campus immersion experience at IIT Bombay.
With AI becoming increasingly important across software, data and technology roles, the programme is positioned as an opportunity for learners and working professionals to strengthen their technical capabilities while gaining exposure to advanced developments in computer science and AI.
