The Maharashtra government has expanded the Vinoba digital education platform to 45,000 government schools across 25 districts, benefiting over 31 lakh students and connecting nearly 1.3 lakh teachers. The initiative, implemented by SCERT Maharashtra in partnership with the Open Links Foundation (OLF), aims to strengthen learning outcomes through technology-driven education.

The platform focuses on foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN), teacher empowerment, life skills, and parent-school engagement. During the 2025–26 academic year, more than 2 lakh students accessed practice tests for scholarship and competitive examinations, contributing to improved success rates. The platform also recorded a 23% improvement in achieving NIPUN Bharat learning goals and supports over 50,000 students each month through activities such as storytelling, spoken English, and poetry recitation.
