The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is aligning school syllabi, textbooks and learning materials with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 through the National Curriculum Frameworks for the Foundational Stage and School Education.
Under the new framework, NCERT has developed updated syllabi and textbooks for Grades 1 to 9, along with learning resources such as Jaadui Pitara and e-Jaadui Pitara for foundational learning.

The revised materials are being designed around learning outcomes, competencies and curricular goals, with multiple rounds of academic, language, pedagogical and sensitivity reviews to ensure alignment with NEP 2020.
