
Union Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has written to Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors, and Administrators across the country, seeking their support to ensure the smooth, fair, and safe conduct of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21.
In view of the ongoing severe heatwave conditions, the Education Minister urged state authorities to ensure adequate facilities at examination centres, including safe drinking water, proper seating arrangements, functional fans and coolers, clean washrooms, shaded waiting areas, uninterrupted electricity supply, and portable toilets wherever required.
He also emphasized the importance of providing sufficient transportation support for students appearing in the examination, stating that the well-being and convenience of aspirants remain a top priority.

The minister expressed confidence that all states and Union Territories would extend full cooperation to ensure the NEET UG 2026 re-exam is conducted in a transparent, secure, and student-friendly manner.
