Eminent scientist K Kasturirangan said, the National Education Policy (NEP) will contribute to a new system aligned with aspirational goals of the 21st century education while remaining rooted to India’s value systems and ethos.

Gujarat approves new 248 self-financed schools

To provide boost to primary education in the state, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has given an in-principle nod for 248 new self-financed schools.The decision was taken after various proposals were discussed before the executive committee of the board.

School principals not in favour of postponing board exams

According to a report, many school principals in the NCR are not in favour of postponement of the CBSE board exams next year.The school principals believe that the postponement of board exams will not be a right move as it will impact the schedule of higher education entrance exams and admission processes as well.

Rajasthan Govt orders reduction in school tuition fee by 30-40 pc

Providing relief to parents, Rajasthan government has ordered the CBSE Board affiliated private schools in the state to cut down their tuition fees by 30 per cent for classes 9 to 12. Also, the schools affiliated with the state board would have to reduce their fees by 40 per cent for the students of classes 9-12.
