Maharashtra needs another IIT: Industrialist, MP Rajkumar Dhoot

Industrialist and Shiv Sena MP in Rajya Sabha, Rajkumar Dhoot has demanded for an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Aurangabad in Marathwada region.

Dhoot stated that Aurangabad being the fastest growing city with all necessary infrastructure in place, there is a need for second IIT in Maharashtra after the one in Mumbai. He also mentioned that there is enough land in the Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University where IIT campus can be set up. He further added that his party would strive to bring the new IIT in Aurangabad after the coming elections. Dhoot also expressed the need for more industries to be set up in Maharastra and more investment to be brought in the state.
