Intel launches e-Classroom for Nigerian students

Intel is boosting for the availability of ICT in the merging market of schools and everywhere in < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Nigeria. Intel has designed a fully functional electronic classroom for Nigeria students. The aim of this classroom is to develop ICT as a permanent instrument available for teacher and student alike.

 

Intel has developed the pilot near Abuja, capital of Nigeria, which will give all benefits of e-learning environment to students and school. There are two major Nigerian authorities who are supporting to the plan, the Federal Ministry of Education and the Federal Capital Territory Authority. The classroom is a global dream of the World Ahead Programme (WAP). WAP is designed to integrate and extend the Intel's efforts in three major areas, accessibility, connectivity, and education. It is the direct consequence of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which is signed between Intel and the Ministry of Education for integrating the development of ICT across the country.
