The Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA) announced that the company has formed partnership with the National Computing Centre (NCC) to build a unique based information portal for schools and colleges.

AQA announced that NCC will provide all relevant materials for a business to exploit Information Technology. The Portal will offer a single integrated ICT resource to support both the teaching and study of ICT and the business management side of a school or college. The portal; is mainly targeted for are four communities like teaching staff, students, IT Technicians and Business managers. Students would be able to explore and understand the different purposes for which ICT is used and gain an appreciation of ICT roles and available career paths through NCC materials. Portal content would be a ready resource as the basis for relating broader knowledge and understanding to 'real-life' business contexts.
