Mumbai: Given the rising awareness about developmental issues, Xavier’s Institute of Communication (XIC), will offer a formal post-graduate diploma programme in Communication for Development (C4D).
The curriculum framework for C4D Course in India has been designed by UNICEF in collaboration with nine media schools.
The course not only aims at informing citizens about development, but it will equally aim to create participatory communication at the grassroot level.
The C4D course will provide to its students a broad spectrum of skill-sets including public service advertising, journalistic writing, documentary film-making and screenwriting for television.
The XIC C4D Course will be a fifteen-month full-time course. It will commence in July and graduates from any discipline are eligible to pursue the course.
