With CBSE board exams a few months away for the Academic Year 2019-20, the board has issued a new circular with the changes in the marking scheme to be carried this year for class 10,12.
For class 10 new marking scheme
The candidates appearing for the class 10 examination have to score a minimum 33 percent in the practical and theory in all the subjects to clear the examination.
For class 12 new marking scheme
The students appearing for the class 12 examination have to score a minimum of 33 percent of marks in practical, theory and assessment separately in all the subjects to clear the examination. To clear the board student must score 23 marks in subjects with 70 marks and 26 in subject with 80 marks.
Theoretical subjects Assessments
Students need to submit the internal assessment for this year to clear the theoretical subjects. For Hindi, English, Mathematics, etc. subjects earlier consisted of 100 marks in total, but from now on, an internal assessment of 20 marks will be counted. Students need to score mimic 6 marks out of the out marks dedicated to the assessments.
The board has informed all the schools about the new marking scheme and has asked them to follow the same for the pre-board examination. This, in turn, will help students to be prepared for the board exam.
CBSE has instructed all schools to conduct 10th and 12th pre-board examinations from December 16 to 30.
