The Minds Behind
The Geekay World School (TGWS) is a vision transformation of The Geekay Group of Companies led by Chairman Mr. R Gandhi, who started the legacy in the early 80’s and laid a strong foundation for the group. The ideology and vision of the Geekay group has been taken forward by the Managing Director Mr. Vinod Gandhi and Director Operations Mr. Santhosh Gandhi.
Mr. Vinod Gandhi the Managing Director of TGWS, a Man of Vision is the spine behind the design of the Geekay’s best international practices moving the institution each day towards the achievement of excellence criteria. Santhosh Gandhi- the Director of Operations is a guiding force in all the administrative functioning at The Geekay World School.

Unique Approach in Curriculum
What makes The Geekay World School stand out in the crowd? The whole maxim is based on the philosophy, to teach the child the way they would wish to learn- preserving their natural curiosity. We are proud to say that we have our own curriculum which preserves and maintains the natural state of inquiry and it is termed Geekay Integrated Primary Programme (GIPP) which centers on the maxim of ‘Inquiry’. This is adopted in both Pre-Primary and Primary. Moving further, the Integrated Middle School Programme (IMSP) at Middle School enlivens the experiential part of learning focusing on the element of the inter-disciplinary approach.The hands-on experience and activity-based learning from Pre-Primary till Middle School prepare our students towards the higher level of Bloom’s Taxonomy – Analyze, Evaluate and Create. Our Curriculum also paves way for strong communication skills since we firmly believe that learning takes place the best when they communicate with each other, in a productive manner.
The flexibility to choose the curriculum when they reach secondary school makes them great decision-makers in life. Informed Choices always form a part of the stream selection when the school provides them chances for both national and international curriculum choices, at secondary.
Beyond Curriculum
TGWS believes in going beyond academics to achieve the holistic development of each Geekain and this is achieved through the specifically designed Sports Curriculum, Performing and Visual arts which complement the all-round development of body, mind and soul.
Meanwhile, Leadership Curriculum at school, makes us unique and different again. ‘Leadership is more of an action, than a position’ is the ideal behind the Life through Leadership project at The Geekay World School and it occupies the center of the curriculum. The project aims to create a transformed leader who has discovered his/her self in the true sense through experiencing the real experience of adventure, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles through a fine blend of risk-taking and virtue management based on a set goal. Our school believes in transformational leadership, and this project not only aims at the transformation of the students, but also the educators who directly or indirectly prepare and mold the leaders who are going to be an asset to the global community. It is a matter of pride for us that our students, through the Leadership curriculum are ultimately led towards self-actualization which is the aim of Life through Leadership Project at the Geekay World School.
Community Service Programme, which is categorized under the Emotional Leadership Category is yet another culture at TGWS. ‘Giving back to the Society’ is the prime focus of the Geekay Community Service ‘ programme. The Geekains work around this belief to identify actions which require them to be servant leaders to society. Some of the past initiatives include -Reaching the Unreached (RTU) project which enabled contributions to the nearby municipal school especially with regard to resource, Helmet Awareness Programme , TN Flood Relief Initiative- 2016, Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with CMC Pathology Department, ‘A Day with the Matured’ Project at Arcot Old Age Home, Health and Hygiene Awareness Programme and Donation of essentials, for all the natural disasters till the recent one associated with COVID-19.
