Dr. Somalapura Nagappa Sridhara has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Hindustan University, Tamil Nadu. He has a total of 32 years of service in teaching including 20 years of research and 13 years of administration.
Prior joining Hindustan University, he was with, Professor and Director, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Gurugram from Jan 2019 to Dec 2020. He has Ph.D, and Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.
He has also guided 8 PhD Scholars, supervised 25 theses at PG and 60 theses at UG level, Reviewer of international Journal, ‘Energy’, and ‘Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics’.
