UGC’s Exam Guidelines and Calendar for new session released

UGC Exam Guidelines

The University Grants Commission (UGC) announced the exam guidelines and academic calendar for admission into the university for 2021-22. Admission procedures for undergraduate programs will begin only after Class 12 results are declared by CBSE, ICSE and other state boards.

The Supreme Court had earlier announced that all board results should be declared by July 31. University admission for UG courses is expected to start on August 1.

As per the guidelines, the university must complete the final year semester examination by August 31. However, the admission process needs to be completed by September 30 so that the new session starts on October 1.

If Class 12 results get delayed for any reason by the boards, then there is a high possibility that the university may extend the date to start a new session. There will be no cancellation charges for withdrawing application till October 31. After this date, the university will deduct Rs 1,000 as the processing fee until December 31.
