The organisers of “eLearning Africa 2007 have released the programme for the second annual conference on ICT for development, education and training. The eLearning conference will take place from May 28 to May 30 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The programme will cover a wide range of issues related with ICT and education in Africa like eLearning in Medical Education and the Fight against HIV and AIDS, eLearning for informal education, mobile learning, open source, and open content, as well as eLearning in schools, universities, and in the public sector. Around 236 speakers from 50 countries will participate in the programme. Speakers from major development organisation like UNESCO, UNEVOC, the Global Development Learning Network (GDLN), and the World Bank will participate in the conference.
