Karnataka University in Bangalore, India has tied up with Infosys BPO to train students in communication and domain specific skills. Karnata University has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Infosys to provide this service to university students.
The Infosys Affirmative Action Programme focuses on aligning the needs of general colleges, faculty and students with the industry needs, thus preparing “industry ready” professionals. Infosys, which is already implementing the programme in Karnataka, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, plans to take it to Orissa, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
