A partnership has taken place between the Kuala Lumpur Education City (KLEC) project and Judge Business School, of the University of Cambridge, to offer open and customised executive education programmes locally. Targeting the senior and the top management levels, the programmes are to be part of the KLEC's initiative to promote world-class executive and continuing professional education programmes within the region.
KLEC is a project supported by the Government in line with the aim of establishing Malaysia as a regional hub for education. A memmrandum of understanding has been signed between the two parties. The papers were signed by Kahlil Anwar Kamal, chief executive officer of Kuala Lumpur Education City Sdn Bhd and Joerg Geier, director of global programmes at Judge Business School's Executive Education division. The programmes will be offered via the KLEC Centre for Executive Education at its temporary campus for now. The permanent campus, which will be ready in January 2012, is located at Bandar Enstek that about 10 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
