Plans are being formulated for setting up of an Aerospace Research and Innovation Centre (ARIC) at the UAE, in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with global academic and industrial institutions. An MoU has been signed between the Khalifa University and Mubadala Aerospace to set up the centre at the university's campus.
The centre is the first step towards setting up an academic research consortium led by the university in collaboration with local and global academic and industrial institutions. The ARIC's research hub in the UAE will develop new technologies for the aerospace sector.
