The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ICS) examinations conducted by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) for classes 10 and 12 respectively are set to begin from Monday. The examinations are conducted over a month long period by the board. About 1,81,004 students will be taking the examinations across 29 states in India as well as four foreign locations. The CISCE currently has 1,634 senior secondary and 761 secondary schools that are affiliated to it. Other countries that has schools affiliated to CISCE are Indonesia, Singapore, Dubai and Sharjah. The class 10 examinations will be ending on March 26 whereas the class 12 examinations will conclude on March 31.
