In a bid to promote online learning and boost content creation in the edtech space, short video platform TikTok has collaborated with several edtech startups to generate content for its ongoing knowledge based campaign.
Edtech startups like Vedantu, Vidya Guru, Hello English, CETKing and Testbook are the ones to partner with Tiktok.
“The aim of the partnership is to give over 200 million TikTok users an opportunity to learn and grow as individuals by partnering with industry leaders to create educational content in various formats and languages,” it said.
As part of the partnership, the EdTech players have joined the video platform to create video content on various subjects like English, Mathematics, Hindi, General Knowledge that can enable personalised learning for TikTok users.
Launched in 2017 by ByteDance, TikTok allow users to create short videos and lip sync videos of 3 to 15 seconds and has gained immense popularity in Asia, United States and other parts of the world.
