
In wake of Supreme Court delivering its verdict in the Ayodhya dispute, the schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain close in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and Delhi.
In Uttar Pradesh, the government has shut all educational institutions from Saturday till Monday as a precautionary measure.
Talking about the national capital, all government schools and many of the private schools have been closed since it is a second Saturday. However, Delhi government has advised all private schools to remain shut today considering the sensitivity of the matter.
Besides, section 144 of CrPC, which prohibits gathering of more than for people, has been tightened in entire Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
The Jammu & Kashmir administration, as a precautionary measure, has postponed examination and declared Saturday as dry day – which prohibits sale of liquor in the state.
Keeping in view of any unpleasant incident, the security has been beefed up across the country after the Supreme Court delivers its historic verdict in decades-old Ram JanamBhoomi and Babri Masjid land dispute.
