The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE), held in December 2019. Candidates who appeared in the December FMGE can check their results on the official website of NBE – https://natboard.edu.in/.
The FMGE 2019 result is published in the form of a merit list carrying the candidate’s roll number, the score obtained and qualifying status. To qualify the examination, a candidate must score at least 50 percent (150 marks out of 300).
Here are a few steps that can be followed to check the FMGE December 2019 result –
Step-1: Go to NBE’s official website – https://nbe.edu.in/ or https://natboard.edu.in/
Step-2: Click on the ‘FMGE December 2019’ link and proceed to the redirected page
Step-3: On the new page, click on the ‘FMGE Result 2019 Dec exam’ PDF file
Step-4: Check your score and qualifying status
Step-5: Download and keep the PDF for future reference
FMGE grants license to medical college graduates from foreign countries to practice medicine in India. The examination is conducted by NBE under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
FMGE is conducted by NBE twice a year in June and December, for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates. The registration certificate is provided by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council (SMC).
