In the view of COVID-19 outbreak, many exams are postponed or cancelled. Not even exams, results are also delayed.
However, the Education Department, Chandigarh Administration, has decided to declare results for Classes IX and XI on April 20.
Earlier, results declared for Classes I to VIII as per the RTE rules on 31st March and all the students were promoted to the next respective classes.
The summer vacation has been preponed and scheduled from 15th April to 14th May.
The result would be declared on the website of the respective schools.
It would also be conveyed to students through text messages and WhatsApp messages.
The parents or students need not come to school for the same.
Subsequently, the students can start their study schedule from the online teaching, an initiative of the Education Department already functional.
