Amid COVID-19 outbreak, National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed students to change their choice of exam centre city for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020.
Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said on social media that he has received many suggestions regarding conduct of examinations during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic including students’ requests for change of exam centres. After the requests, ministry has directed NTA to consider the request.
In view of the ongoing pandemic situation, NTA has expanded the scope of the correction window, generally limited to making changes in particulars like name, fathers’ name and other such details. Candidates will now be able to make changes to choice of exam centre as well.
📢Announcement
Attention JEE(MAIN) 2020 applicants, in the view of current #COVID19 situation, I have advised @DG_NTA to further expand the scope of making corrections in application forms allowing students to include the choice of cities for centres.
