
The Global Education & Training Institute (GETI) is set to host the thirteenth edition of the Ed Leadership International Conference virtually from January 21-24, 2021. The eminent leaders of the education sector from around the world will participate in the discussions. Digital Learning Magazine, a publication of Elets Technomedia, is the media partner for the conference.
The event will include Rajnath Singh, Union Defence Minister, Kiran Bedi, Lt. Governor of Puducherry, Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Anurag Tripathi, Secretary, CBSE and Anil Swarup, Former Secretary, MHRD, Government of India as Chief Guests.
The Ed Leadership 2021 conference will bring together more than 2,000 participants from different regions to hear from more than 80 international speakers. International presence is expected from among 50+ countries including: Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Mauritius, Nepal, Portugal, Samoa, Sudan, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, UK, and USA.
“Education requires great deliberation especially in wake of the NEP and we require your participation,” said Sunita Gandhi, Convenor of the conference and Founder of Global Education & Training Institute.
This year’s theme is “The power of change that inspires the teacher within.” The conversations will focus on inspiring the teacher from within, building deeper and more meaningful relationships, better connecting education to purpose in life, and setting and meeting new standards.
The last day of the conference is dedicated to foundational literacy of the underprivileged, leaving no one behind, to make education emerge stronger than before the global crisis. It is hard to imagine there will be another moment in history when the central role of education in the economic, social, political prosperity and stability of nations will be so obvious and well understood.
Ed Leadership’s first international roundtable took place in 2008. Since then, 12 more have taken place in which participants received a certificate of attendance, followed by Continuous Innovation Fellowships and International Innovators in Education Award.
