Delhi Education Budget 2021: Delhi to get first Sainik school and Delhi Model Virtual School

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia presented the 2021 education budget in Delhi today. He declared the budget as the “Deshbhakti budget” in view of the center’s 75th anniversary celebrations with 75 weeks as “Deshbhakti Mahotsav” as of March 12, 2021.

Delhi’s education budget for 2021 will focus on India’s 75 and 100 years of independence. Delhi will have its first Sainik school together with the Delhi Armed Forces Preparatory Academy. Students will participate in NDA training with regular study.

Rs 16,377 crore or a quarter of the total budget goes to the education sector in Delhi. Delhi’s education budget for 2021 is the government’s most specific budget this year.

This year’s Delhi education budget for 2021 focuses on three important steps to further improve the quality of school education. The first is to create an entirely new curriculum for kindergarten through eighth grade. The second is to create the Delhi Board of Education’s own Exams. The third is the creation of 100 schools of excellence in Delhi.

The Entrepreneurial Mindset program was introduced for students in grades 9-12 to develop the latest 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, risk tracking, and self-management.

On March 8, 2021, Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia presented the “results budget” for 2020-2021, in which the departments of education, health, people with disabilities and the environment are among the best. He assured that the Delhi government would be the first to present a budget report to the people.

The Delhi Budget Performance Report showed that 84 percent of the education indicators were “on track,” meaning the target of more than 75 percent was met. The Delhi Education Budget 2021 is carefully planned based on the above dates.

Delhi has the first university of professors of the country that trains the professors according to the international standards.

The Entrepreneurship Program was introduced for children in grades nine through twelve.

100 specialized schools of excellence will be opened for grades 9-12 in different parts of Delhi.
