
A Hyderabad based-firm Athena Global Technologies launches its edtech platform Tutoroot that provides training to K-12. The platform offers other certification programmes to teachers virtually.
With the advent of technology, many things have changed in the technological world. The company understands the growing need for technology in the education sector, which is pushing them to introduce such platforms in the market. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, there has been a seamless shift in adoption and adaption of technology in the day-to-day learning of schools, colleges and other educational institutions.
The features of this platform are immense. Students will get access to live interactive classes, subject demo videos, adaptive assessments and courseware.
The company’s Managing Director, M Satyendra (Satish) said that the classes will be delivered by IIT faculty and will make it an engaging and good learning experience for the students. Free certificates will also be provided to the students.

The platform focuses on subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to start up. The company plans to tap more schools and students in the future.
While in the beta testing stage, the company trained 2,000 students and worked closely with three schools. It has plans to expand to 2,000 students in six months and will likely work with 50-100 schools.
