The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched an interactive online educational programme, the ‘Eklavya series’, in order to build conceptual understanding of various topics. CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar jointly launched this program.
The program focuses on clarifying National Educational Policy (NEP) and how it can be implemented. “The National Education Policy 2020 envisions a transformational shift in education. The goal is to nurture in our students creativity, out-of-box thinking, conceptual understanding and learning how to learn,” said CBSE in a circular.
The interactive online educational program will include:
– Projects, hands-on activities and models that will help in conceptual understanding of various topics
– Focuses on out-of-the-box thinking and provokes thoughtful questions
– Inspiring DIY (do it yourself) project videos
The content will include topics from Science and Mathematics of Classes 6-12. Students from these grades should come forward and participate in clearing concepts and gaining knowledge.
The session will start from September 26 onwards, every Sunday afternoon.
