Many colleges are augmenting their online course offerings by developing new online courses or converting traditional courses into online formats to meet the changing demands of students.

Besides this many colleges are adopting blended or hybrid prototypes, which combine online learning with in person instruction. This allows students to have the best of both the worlds.
