Dr. Hemang Joshi, Member of Parliament for Vadodara, recently shared an exciting milestone: the approval of the official logo for Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV). This new identity reflects the institution’s ambitious vision and alignment with India’s transformative developmental goals, as inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Viksit Bharat 2047” mission.
The logo encapsulates symbols of transportation—land, air, and water—highlighting GSV’s role in the multi-modal transport sector. It also features a banyan tree, a nod to Vadodara’s heritage and a representation of knowledge, sustainability, and rooted progress. The inclusion of a perpetual wheel underscores continuous development, and a Sanskrit inscription, translating to “Relentless Pursuit of Excellence,” embodies the institution’s ethos.
Key elements of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya logo:
- Transportation Icons: Representing land, water, and air, highlighting GSV’s comprehensive approach to the sector.
- Banyan Tree: Symbolizing knowledge, sustainability, and a tribute to Vadodara.
- Wheel of Progress: Reflecting continuous growth and innovation.
- Sanskrit Motto: “Relentless Pursuit of Excellence.”
