Nord Anglia Education has been acquired by a consortium of investors in a deal valued at an impressive $14.5 billion, in a significant move within the global education sector, The new ownership group includes EQT, Neuberger Berman Private Markets, CPP Investments, CF Alba, and Dubai Holding, signalling strong financial backing and strategic vision for the renowned education provider.
The acquisition covers Nord Anglia’s entire network of 80+ schools across 33 countries, educating over 90,000 students aged 2 to 18. In the UAE, all four Nord Anglia schools are included in the deal:
- Nord Anglia International School Dubai
- British International School Abu Dhabi
- Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi
- Swiss International Scientific School Dubai
