IIT Roorkee’s Continuing Education Centre (CEC) has partnered with leading tech education platform Scaler to launch an Advanced AI Engineering Program. The course is designed to equip both tech and non-tech professionals with real-world expertise in AI and machine learning through an industry-relevant curriculum and hands-on projects.
The two-month program covers machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, with practical applications across text, image, audio, and video. It also features training with tools such as Cursor and Copilot and includes domain-specific AI use cases like healthcare.
Delivered via live online sessions, the course includes real-world projects and a two-day campus immersion at IIT Roorkee, offering access to state-of-the-art labs and networking opportunities with peers and industry experts.

Graduates will earn a joint certificate from IIT Roorkee and Scaler, supporting career growth into roles such as AI Engineer, Data Scientist, DevOps Engineer, or Software Developer.
Scaler Co-founder Abhimanyu Saxena and IIT Roorkee’s Prof. Kaushik Ghosh emphasized that this partnership aims to launch multiple programs targeting emerging technologies, setting new standards in tech education.
