It was with this conviction that my husband, Dr. Ashok K. Chitkara, and I founded Chitkara University in Himachal Pradesh (2008) and Punjab (2010). Today, with over 30,000 students, 1,700+ faculty members, UGC recognition, NAAC A+ accreditation, and NIRF rankings across multiple disciplines, Chitkara University stands as one of the most dynamic and progressive universities in India.

Our Chitkara–Deakin Joint Doctoral Program exemplifies our research-led global approach, allowing scholars to spend up to 12 months at Deakin University while pursuing doctoral research of international relevance.
