SWAYAM, the Government of India’s free online learning platform, has launched seven new Artificial Intelligence courses designed for learners across diverse disciplines from science and commerce to education and sports.
The initiative reflects SWAYAM’s vision to make AI learning more inclusive, practical, and interdisciplinary, helping students and professionals alike understand how intelligent technologies are reshaping every field.
Among the offerings, the AI/ML Using Python course lays the foundation for artificial intelligence and machine learning, covering Python programming, data visualization, and core mathematical principles such as linear algebra and optimization.
For sports enthusiasts, Cricket Analytics with AI takes data science to the pitch, enabling learners to analyse real match data and derive insights through Python-based case studies.
Educators can benefit from AI for Educators, a specially curated course that helps teachers integrate AI tools into classroom instruction, student assessments, and engagement strategies making teaching more dynamic and personalised.
Science learners can choose between AI in Physics and AI in Chemistry, which demonstrate how AI supports problem-solving in experimental physics, molecular modeling, reaction prediction, and even drug discovery.
For those from commerce and management backgrounds, AI in Accounting explores the transformation of financial systems through automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making tools.
Each course includes interactive modules, practical assignments, and real-world datasets, ensuring learners gain both theoretical grounding and hands-on exposure.
With this forward-looking initiative, SWAYAM reaffirms its role as a catalyst in India’s AI-driven education movement bridging the gap between traditional academics and the skills demanded by the digital economy.
