The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in collaboration with Coding Ninjas, has introduced a new series of professional certification courses aimed at equipping working professionals and graduates with industry-relevant technical skills. This initiative is designed to enhance career prospects in the ever-evolving technology sector by providing accessible, high-quality education.
The first offering in this series is the Full-Stack Web Programming Professional Certification Course, which focuses on front-end and back-end development. As demand for full-stack developers in India continues to grow—rising 30% year-on-year, particularly due to the fintech and e-commerce boom—this programme aims to bridge the industry skill gap. Projections suggest that by 2033, the demand for full-stack engineers will increase by 17%, surpassing the growth rate of many other technology-related professions.
The certification courses, developed with input from IIT Madras faculty and industry experts from Coding Ninjas, offer a comprehensive learning experience. The curriculum incorporates expert-led sessions, guest lectures, real-world case studies, and hands-on projects, ensuring learners gain practical exposure.
Additionally, participants benefit from job placement support services, including resume-building workshops, mock interviews, and exclusive access to a job board, helping them secure employment in the technology domain. The programme culminates in an onboarding and graduation ceremony at IITM Pravartak, where learners receive a Professional Certificate upon successful completion.
To enhance the learning experience, the courses integrate AI-driven tools that improve comprehension and problem-solving abilities. Designed to accommodate recent graduates and working professionals, the programme structure allows for a flexible learning experience that aligns with individual career aspirations.
