As the world celebrates the 200th birth anniversary of scientist Charles Darwin this year, two London-based young Gujarati researchers are geared up to promote the place where he lived and worked – The Darwin's Landscape Laboratory (DLL) in UK. In fact, Nainesh Patel and Dhaval Patel, graduating from University of Greenwich this year, were also two of the three students selected by their university to attend Darwin Symposium and Darwin 200 conferences at Darwin city in Australia in September. The duo submitted research proposals on DLL that is eyeing a UNESCO World Heritage Site status this year. All research proposals were sent to education department of Bromley Borough Council and the World Heritage Bid team for approval and modification. Their proposals, along with that of their fellow student Jenny Wallace, got approval from the board. Based on further research, their university selected them to attend Darwin Symposium in Australia hosted by Charles Darwin University.
