Five schools of Singapore will roll out virtual education programme in their campus. Students at the five schools will integrate infocomm technology into their curriculum across all levels.
Schools, including Jurong Secondary, Hwa Chong Institution, Canberra Primary and Crescent Girls' and the new Beacon Primary School will provide the educational programme. This ambitious programme comes under the ICT initiatives, already taken by some schools. The Ministry of Education (MOE) is intending to expand the programme for up to 15 schools under its FutureSchools@Singapore initiative.
