
The Rajasthan Government has decided to reduce the syllabus and course curriculum for Class 1 to 5 students of the state by nearly 48 percent for academic year 2020-21. The Education Department has notified reduction in the RBSE syllabus keeping the pandemic under consideration. Now, all academic activities for students of primary section of the Rajasthan will be held as per the 52% syllabus that has been notified by the department.
The Education Department of Rajasthan Govt took to twitter to announce the decision about reduction of syllabus for Primary School students.
With schools closed for nearly 8 months and the pandemic situation still being serious across the country; the state government has decided to reduce the syllabus or course curriculum for students from 1st to 5th Class. The reduction in the overall syllabus for primary classes will ensure continuity of the learning and teaching process in students.

However, there is no update regarding syllabus reduction for classes 6 and above. Earlier in the month, the state government has decided that schools would remain closed till December 31 in Rajasthan due to the increasing number of cases.
While announcing the decision to reduce syllabus for primary school students, the Education Department is yet to issue any notification or provide any information about the upcoming board exams for Class 5, Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 students.
Around 25 lakh students who are due to appear for the Rajasthan Board Exam 2021 are eagerly awaiting an official announcement about holding of the board exams 2021.
