Delhi schools will not offer physical classes from April 1 of the new academic session. Students from 9th to 12th grade in Delhi are now only called to school practice classes and show up in the middle before the board, year and board exams. Schools have been asked not to offer regular physical classes to students due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.
The Delhi Ministry of Education said students can only be asked to provide academic advice and help them prepare for upcoming exams. They must first receive a consent letter from their parents.
Schools can start their new course in virtual mode from April 1.
School authorities have been urged to inform all students and parents of the new changes and, if necessary, to take precautions while teaching the physical lesson.

Earlier, on February 5, the Delhi government reopened schools for ninth and eleventh grade students.
Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said: “We will not call all students at the same time. We will only call students with the prior consent of their parents.”
Schools across the country are closed due to coronavirus pandemic from last year March 2020.
